An absolute must-read for all wannabe Canadians - Probably the funniest book I ve ever read. Period. The first time I read the book, I had to stop frequently for a gulp of air, I laughed so hard I almost fainted. Knowing and loving quite a lot of Canadians and Canada for over 30 years now - all their little loveable (and sometimes plain weird) ticks, the interesting and frequent use of eh?, the unbelievable splendour of its nature and shopping malls - reading this book took me back to all those treasured Canadian-Moments I was privileged to enjoy.Since I bought the book at Chapters (Langley, B.C., Canada) I ve re-read it a lot of times with equal pleasure. So, it s good value, eh?Everyone interested in Canada and especially Canadians, what makes them tick, how they interact, or, as Ferguson puts it, how to actually find a Canadian, as the land is so vast and huge, should consider buying this book. The reader will find some extremely well researched (oh boy!) data and hard facts about each Province and Territory in this book, including details of their respective (unofficial) motto, driving-habits, peculiarities of it s inhabitants and much, much more.Aside from the immense fun reading it, it contains facts little known to the outside world. Like the different meanings and versions of Oh, Canada!, is beer from the US really weaker than Canadian beer, that Basketball, Curling and many more popular sports were in fact invented in Canada and how to pass as a true Canadian. Provided, that is, you stock up in Kleenex to wipe your laughing tears from your eyes to keep on reading.Style: The book is very well written. The Ferguson Bros. really put their heart and a lot of thought into this masterpiece, always tongue-in-cheek but never lewd or primitive, sometimes even some well deserved criticism wrapped in seething sarcasm.Have fun! The Canadian Way! Eh?P.S.: Unofficial Motto of Saskatchewan: Not as flat as you might think!
